My Wedding Ended Up Being Better Than I Ever Could Have Imagined

Hurricane Florence tried to stop our love and failed.

My wedding finally happened.

And it was fantastic!

Sierra and mine’s love story is a little different from most people’s.

For those of you that didn’t already know, our original wedding was supposed to happen on September 15th, 2018.

Needless to say, my fiancee, Sierra and I were forced to reschedule the wedding.

A year of planning and preparing, gone, in an instant.

We were devastated, to say the least. Yet, we adjusted and rolled with the punches the best we could.

First and foremost, we made sure to protect ourselves and our family that lives in this town during the storm. We looked out for one another and made sure we were all safe.

Our wedding planner made sure everything ran smoothly. Our vendors all stepped up big time and over-delivered on their promises.

The majority of our friends and family were able to come to the wedding still. The music our DJ played was fantastic.

The food was incredible. The Brewery was decorated flawlessly.

Our ceremony was short and sweet, but it was beautifully done.

Our reception was filled with dancing.
