Where Did She Go?

№ 3 of 💯

She left this morning.

I wanted to tell her how much I liked her tagine yesterday. How cute she looked when cooking it. And how I wanted to stand behind her, put my hand on her hips, and kiss her cheek.

I imagined the scene repeating itself for days, weeks, months, and even years. I would be eating tagine and couscous; she would be trying my pad Thai and pho soup. We would talk over dinner, have sex over dessert, and live an extraordinary simple life.

But she went away, like all my Couchsurfing guests before her. They all left, eventually.

Time to find the next one. Maybe she will stay and live an extraordinary simple life with me.
