Even though you were born at a time of great uncertainty in the world, you are one of the luckiest babies EVER BORN.

Do you know why?

Your mommy carried you with so much strength, courage, joy… and apparent ease even when you grew to be a big big boy.

Your daddy cares for you in so many ways and will be a great role model when you one day learn what it means to grow into a really good man.

You grandparents awaited your birth with such excitement and pride. They are grateful to God everyday for every single bit of you from the tippity top of your head to the ends of your teensy fingers and toes.

Your uncle has a huge heart and unending curiosity about the world. I’m certain that you and he will have many adventures together someday.

Your extended family is vast and varied. We all excitedly check in for updates on your development, growth, health. This group of people loved you before they even met you. We’ll all play a different role in your future.

And last, but certainly not least, your great grandparents. They are the core of your past and at the root of your heritage.

Through them we’ve learned the power of love, the value of family, the impact of giving, the effects of tenderness, the joy of good food and togetherness… in a really clean home.

You see? It is into our arms that you were born, to begin your journey through life.
