How Patriarchy and Capitalism Combine to Aggravate the Oppression of Women

The only promising thing in the chaos of the capitalist system today is the limited enlightenment of the phenomenon of women. Abuse can be considered as the opportunism to turn everything into one’s…

Why Your Ads Do Not Convert.

I know what it feels like to pour time, effort, and money into ad campaigns that just don't drive any leads. Sometimes, it’s like throwing your hard-earned cash into a black hole, never to see any returns on your investment. It makes you to start questioning your abilities as a marketer and wonder if there's something actually wrong with your approach.
Relax, this is why I am here for you, to show you your mistakes and practical tips to turn things around. So, grab a cup of coffee and let’s ride together.

According to a study by Small Business Trends, 70% of small business websites lack a clear call-to-action (CTA) on their homepage. If your ads do not tell your audience what to do next, you will leave them confused and abandon your ad like a dump site. Tell them to buy your product, sign up for your newsletter, or visit your website – or whatever it is you need them to do. And remember to make it clear, concise, and compelling. I would say go straight to the point like an African mom.

Targeting is crucial in advertising. Your ad won't convert to leads if you're targeting the wrong audience. Poor targeting is like shooting in the dark because you surely won’t hit your target. To target the right audience, you need to know their demographics, interests, behaviours, and location. Use analytic tools and insights to understand your audience and target them specifically.

When creating your ads, you should consider your target audience, their needs and interests. Else, they won't pay attention if your ads do not speak to them. Don't be like a man selling snow cones in Antarctica. Make sure your ads speak to your audience's pain points and offer solutions to their problems.

As the saying goes, "under promise and overdeliver." Overpromising in your ads can lead to disappointment and mistrust with your audience. In fact, a survey by Label Insight found that 94% of consumers are likely to be loyal to a brand that is transparent about its products. So, if your ad overpromises and underdelivers, you risk losing not just the sale but also the trust of your audience. Remember, it's better to set realistic expectations and exceed them than to promise the moon and fall short. And if you can't deliver the moon, well, there's always Mars!

A Google survey reveals that 53% of mobile users leave a site that takes longer than 3 seconds to load. Trust me, a slow website can be as frustrating as waiting forever for a “Yes” from that babe you’ve been toasting. You’ll definitely leave her for another after waiting for too long– except you’re too deep in the love sha. If your website takes too long to load, your audience will leave and go to your competitors. Use tools like Google PageSpeed Insights or GTmetrix to test your website speed and optimize it for better performance.

If you are tired of wasting money on ads that don’t bring in substantial results, you want to start upping your game with these high-level strategies I have shared with you. Implement them and share your results with me.
